1000 Dead and no CNN

How come 1,000 people get killed in Iraq as a direct result of the policies and actions of the United States and CNN can't even be bothered to report it save a tiny headline stashed away in the corner of their website? And yes it is the fault of the USA/UK because if they are the architects of the situation in Iraq and these people would not have died today otherwise.
